The organisations that supervises the issue of the patents is called patent offices. The former is one of the agency of the United Nation who is concerned with the intellectual property. SIPO which is also known as the Chinese Patent Office was established in 1980 and deals with the foreign affairs and intellectual property.
The list of the patent offices incudes the Indian Patent Office which is mainly controlled by the office of Controller General of Patents, Design and Trade Marks (CGPTDM).
The list of the patent offices further includes Japan Patent Office, Netherland's Patent Office, Norwegian Patent office, Nordic Patent Office and Organization Africaine de la Propriete Intellectuelle.
